Total Wrapping involves covering the entire visible bodywork of the vehicle, including the door jambs, inner frames visible when the doors are open and the areas surrounding the tailgate.
Car Wrapping is a technique that uses adhesive film to cover almost any type of vehicle, including cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks and even trains. Wrapping films are mainly made from PVC, a flexible material that can conform to the shape of the vehicle. Matte black and matte white are among the most popular colours, but the market now offers countless shades and finishes.
Special finishes are becoming increasingly popular, including chrome, leather-effect, pearlescent white, carbon-fibre, gunmetal grey, wood-effect and a wide range of metallic colours.
Car Wrapping is generally less expensive than repainting and is easily reversible, which can also make the vehicle easier to sell. Indicative prices start at around €1,000 for a small car, range from approximately €1,200 to €1,400 for a medium-sized vehicle, and can reach €1,800–€2,000 for larger cars. Prices may be higher when metallic or special-effect films are used, or when the vehicle has particularly complex or customised bodywork.
